In Almaty, at the Shymbulak ski resort, an international forum "Problems and Prospects for the Development of Mountain Tourism" was held.
Among the participants and speakers were representatives of the Akimat of Almaty, the national company "Kazakh Tourism", the leadership of the ski resorts of the Almaty agglomeration, and representatives of tourism companies from Austria, France, Switzerland, Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and the Consul for Culture and Tourism of the Chinese Embassy.
Consulting company IGM has significant experience in developing and supporting investment projects in tourism development in the Republic of Kazakhstan. IGM was represented by Maxim Gandrabura, Senior Partner. Negotiations were held on the development strategy of individual mountain resorts near Almaty. In general, proposals were formulated and submitted to the organizers of the Forum on the special status and disclosure of the tourist potential of the Almaty agglomeration.
