In July 2019, a high-tech plant for the production of ferrosilicon LLP "YDD Corporation" in the city of Karaganda was launched in Kazakhstan. The cost of the project amounted to 34 billion 150 million tenge, of which 24 billion 120 million tenge was provided by the Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC in the form of a loan for a period for 11 years.
What are ferroalloys? These are alloys of iron with silicon, manganese, chromium, titanium and other elements and is one of the most important elements in the production and alloying of steel.
